Dr Jeremy Simpson has over 25 years of management and leadership experience in healthcare, pharma, biotechnology and CRO settings across Australia, New Zealand and the rest of the Asia Pacific region.

Jeremy has worked in clinical research roles with Wellcome, Pharmacia, and ICON Clinical Research where he managed the regional team based in Singapore.  He was project director of world’s largest controlled study to investigate anti-mycobacterial therapy in Crohn’s disease.  Study was sponsored, initiated and implemented locally from inception with the highest world class standards resulting in publication of the data and commercialisation of the therapy. 

 

More recently, he has worked in the biotechnology sector with Bionomics and Oncosil Medical.  At Bionomics he coordinated IND approval and execution of the associated phase I oncology study.  At Oncosil, Jeremy managed the highest recruiting study in pancreatic cancer in contempory history.

 

Jeremy was Scientific Affairs Director at Fresenius Kabi Australia with responsibility for regulatory affair, medical affairs, quality assurance, clinical development and product reimbursement.  He successfully project managed the implementation of ISO 9001 quality system across the company. In 2011 he was awarded the Fresenius Kabi Asia Pacific Management Team Award 2011.
